You'll love these baked oats so MATCHa.
Your daily dose of matcha in spoonable form... plus chocolate. Stovetop oats are always great but it is fun to change things up. Baked oats have this delicious, slightly crunchy top and a soft center. I love loading them up with protein or adaptogens because they mix in so well. You can add nuts, seeds, berries or chocolate! The options are endless!
It does take 30 minutes to bake, but the prep is 2 minutes tops! Make them and bake them while you meditate, journal or start your work day. You'll be glad you did!
1 ripe banana + 1/2 banana for topping
1 cup oats
1 1/4 cup oat milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp matcha
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, mash banana.
Add in the oat milk, cinnamon and finally extract. Mix well.
Stir in the matcha and oats until well combined.
Pour mixture into oven-safe dishes (or one dish).
Top with chopped chocolate bar and some banana.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Cool and enjoy!
