Whats better than a bowl of oatmeal?!
A dish of BAKED oatmeal. I was so intimidated by baked oats before I tried them. Sure it takes a little more time, but its actually easier! Once you stick it in the oven, you have 30 minutes to go about your morning activities.
Just like stovetop oats, you can mix in veggies, nut butters, protein, nuts and seeds! Top it however you'd like and eat straight from the dish. Warning: use oven mitts!
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1/4 cup nut milk
1/4 cup matcha (I used Magic Mind)
1/4 cup grated zucchini
1/2 cup gluten-free oats
1 scoop unflavored protein (use code CACAO20 for 20% off)
1 tsp baking power
Toppings
Banana
Strawberries
Coconut shreds
Matcha buckwheat (use code CFC15 for 15% off first order)
Recipe
Mash banana in a bowl.
Add everything else to bowl, mix well.
Transfer to an oven-safe dish.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Top with with banana, strawberries, coconut, matcha buckwheat and anything else you'd like!
