Chocolate Banana Baked Oats

\Give your oats a glow up.

There are so many ways to do oats. I used to only know the bags of instant oats - any dinosaur egg lovers out there?!

There are overnight oats for the planner, stovetop oats for when you're having a slow morning and baked oats for when you just have a few minutes and then have to jump on a 30 minute call.

You can always load your oats up with protein, nut/seed butters, adaptogens and superfood powders. Keep it simple or make them extra - they are a breakfast staple.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana, mashed

  • 1/2 cup gluten-free oats

  • 1 Tbsp ground flax

  • A couple shakes of cinnamon

  • 2 tsp black magic latte

  • 1 tbsp cashew butter

  • 1/2 cup non-dairy milk

  • A handful of chocolate chips

  • 1/2 banana for topping

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a bowl, mash banana. Add in all the rest of the ingredients and mix until well combined.

  3. Transfer to an oven-safe dish.

  4. Top with banana.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden on the top.

Makes 1 serving
