Every day is an occasion for red velvet.
These protein-packed bliss bites are perfect for pre-workout, post-workout, snack time, desert... anytime really! Small but mighty, these bites are full of superfoods, healthy fats, natural sweetness and protein. Keep these in the fridge and you'll feel good about reaching for this sweet treat versus something with a bunch of extra ingredients.
3/4 cup almond butter (the creamer, the better)
1/3 cup plant-based protein powder
1/4 cup beauty bomb latte
2 tbsp maple syrup
Chocolate (for melting)
Optional: flakey sea salt
In a food processor, combine almond butter, protein powder, beauty bomb latte and maple syrup.
Roll into bites of desired size.
Let the bliss bites set in the fridge while you melt chocolate.
Using a double boiler (or microwave), melt chocolate of your choice. Note: depending on chocolate, you might need to use coconut oil to melt.
Drizzle chocolate over the bliss bites and top with flakey salt.
Put the bites back in the fridge to set for ~30 minutes.
Enjoy and store in fridge.
