Shamrock Shake

Are you feeling lucky!? Thank you McDonald's for this one.

I honestly have never had an official shamrock shake. I make green mint smoothies year round because they are so refreshing. This on was made extra special with St. Patrick's Day in mind.


Think thick, creamy and minty. The peppermint extract makes anything taste like a York patty and I am here for it. The coconut milk (canned), banana, avocado and sea moss combo is a creamy dream. I bet I could flip this cup upside down and everything would stay in its place. I will not try that one at home ;)

 
 

Ingredients

  • Handful of fresh spinach

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 stalk celery

  • 3/4 - 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2 Tbsp ground sunflower and sesame seeds (use code CC15 for 15% off)

  • 1/4 fresh avocado

  • Shake of cinnamon

  • 2 scoops protein powder (use code CACAO20 for 20% off)

  • A heaping Tbsp of sea moss gel

  • 1 tsp peppermint extract

  • Handful of cacao nibs

Toppings


Recipe

  1. Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Add more liquid if needed.

  2. Add chocolate almond butter to the sides of the jar before pouring in smoothie.

  3. Top and enjoy!
