Upgrade your breakfast with a quick sauté. Fancy toast is a great way to treat yourself!
Once you find a bread you love, it is hard to convince yourself to not make toast. Talk about a blank canvas... The options are seriously endless.
I have been loving Young Kobras gluten-free sourdough bread! There are four varieties; original, fig walnut, olive herb and seeded buckwheat.
I used to think caramelized bananas, apples, etc would take too much time. Truth is, it takes longer to toast your bread. These pears were sweet, soft and the perfect contrast to crunchy toast.
2 slices of sourdough bread
Nut butter (I used JEM Organics Maple Pecan Hazelnut Butter)
Pear Preserves (I used a Girl Meets Dirt Pear Balsamic)

Toast your bread.
Slice pear and sauté over medium heat with oil of your choice. Let pear get golden and then flip.
Top the toast and enjoy.
