These warming spices are always in season.
There is something so comforting about the gingerbread flavor. Its grounding, its cozy and its so nostalgic. I am bringing gingerbread into the conversation early this year. We could all use a little more ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg in our life.
Ingredients
1 packet (1 1/2 cups) chocolate graham cookie mix
1 cup almond butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
1 tsp ground
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
2 Tbsp molasses
chocolate and flakey salt for topping
Recipe
Add the cookie mix, almond butter, coconut oil, spices and molasses to a food processor.
Mix until wet and dry ingredients are well incorporated.
Roll into balls of equal size (I did 10).
Store in freezer for at least 30 minutes to harden.
Using a double boiler or microwave, melt chocolate.
Dip cooled bliss balls into chocolate and top with flakey salt.
Freeze to set and then store in fridge.
