These pull apart bars are finger lickin' good. I suggest you do go ahead and lick your fingers since there's lots of turmeric in there and you don't want to get that on anything :)
I used to have pull apart cinnamon roll bread. I loved finding the perfect piece and working at grabbing it without pulling everything apart. You'll want to pull more than one bite of these ones. Imagine the cozy spices you like to sip with the contrast of chewy and slightly sweet blueberries. I love this flavor combination.
The base is sweet and soft. Thanks to Joolies Dates, my favorite dates! The overall consistency of these bars resembles more of a date than a nut bar. If you are going for more of a firm bar, you can add less liquid.
I have found dried blueberries without added sugar! This is way too hard to come by. Just like fresh blueberries, they are naturally sweet and packed with antioxidants.
8 medjool dates, pitted and soaked (use code CACAO15 for 15% Ooff)
3/4 cup golden milk protein powder
2 Tbsp golden milk almond butter
~1/4 cup water
Handful of dried blueberries
Pit and soak dates to soften.
In a food processor, blend dates to a paste.
Add in the nut butter and powder.
Add liquid to absorb the powder. You may not need quite 1/4 cup depending on the consistency you want.
Add in the blueberries last. Pulse to mix but try not to crush them.
Line a dish with parchment paper and press in the mix.
Let set in freezer for an hour before storing in the refrigerator.
