Chocolate Strawberry Chia Parfait
Layers are just more fun. Sip your smoothie and then enjoy your chia parfait. Or, mix it all together like I do!

Chia seeds pack a lot of punch into their tiny size. Chia seeds are a great source of antioxidants, protein, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids and calcium.
Chia pudding is a delicious and easy way to enjoy all these benefits. If we are being honest, I never quite measure out my chia seeds or liquid. I believe that 1:3 (chia:liquid) is a good place to start. You can add superfoods, fruits, protein or whatever else you'd like. Stir it all together in a container or mason jar and set in your fridge. I usually prepare my chia pudding in the evening and it is ready for breakfast.
Chia pudding is the perfect parfait (tongue twister) addition. It makes for a really good bottom layer as nothing can seep through. Layer with fruits, smoothie or yogurt for a nourishing meal.
